Erik Barnard, Founder
Erik’s family has called Ellis County home for five generations. With a passion for cultivating relationships, he has decades of experience in the title business. In fact, it’s the only work he has ever known. He started working with his father in the industry when he was only 14 years old. After working alongside his father for decades, he recently decided to strike out on his own. Erik and his family are well known in the community for their many civic and charitable endeavors, and they are strong supporters of the Waxahachie school district. And Erik is proud to say that his own son is already continuing the family tradition of working in the title business. When he’s not developing business relationships, Erik likes to golf and travel with his family.
Patrick Wilson, Founder
Patrick’s family has called Ellis County home for six generations. Today, his family still farms in the community of Avalon. After a long career in public service, including ten years as the elected Ellis County District Attorney, Patrick decided to climb a second career mountain in the private sector. He brings a wealth of leadership and legal experience to Bison Title. He and his family have long been active in the local community and local schools. When he’s not working, you can probably find Patrick traveling with his family, working in his yard, or sharing a good beer with good friends.
